Suspects are described as a Middle Eastern male and Middle Eastern female
Hamilton Police are investigating a Break and Enter that occurred on September 15, 2025, at a residence located in the area of Highway No. 5 and Lynden Road in Hamilton.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., a resident was upstairs when they heard a door close on the main floor. Shortly after, a family member entered the area and discovered a male suspect inside the home, seated at a computer desk. When questioned, the suspect made a brief statement regarding payment for the fruit produce that the home had for sale at the end of their driveway. He then left the home on foot to a waiting black Audi vehicle, entering the rear seat before leaving the property.
The incident initially did not raise concern as the homeowners believed that the man was just confused and genuinely inquiring about the fruit produce; however, the homeowners later received social media reports linking the same suspects and vehicle to similar incidents in other jurisdictions, including Oxford and Markham.
Suspect Descriptions:
- Male: Middle Eastern, approximately 30 years old, 5’10”, average build, traditional haircut with clean sides. Last seen wearing a long white t-shirt and dark pants.
- Female: Middle Eastern, medium build, wearing traditional headdress and attire. Last seen wearing a black top and pants with light-colored embroidery.
Video surveillance later confirmed the presence of both individuals on the property. No forced entry was observed as the door had been left unlocked, and it is unclear whether any money or produce was stolen from the farm stand. Nothing appeared to be missing from inside the residence.
Hamilton Police are urging residents, particularly those who operate farm stands or similar businesses, to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity immediately.
