On September 12, 2024, Lee HARLAND was located deceased inside Nanaimo’s Bowen Park and police determined his death to have been a homicide.
Today marks the 1-year anniversary of this tragic event, and the Nanaimo RCMP Serious Crime Unit reports significant progress in the investigation, with ongoing efforts to gather evidence and hold those responsible accountable.
“The investigation is advancing, and we believe there are individuals with information that could help us obtain closure and justice for Lee and his family” said Constable Richard Mills of the Nanaimo RCMP Serious Crime Unit.
