UPDATE: Saddle Lake, Alta. – RCMP report that 49-year-old Corinne Steinhauer has been located safe.
RCMP continue search for the suspect Conrad Cardinal who is described as:
- Male
- Slender complexion
- Black Hair
- Brown Eyes
- 5 fee 7 inches tall
- 150 pounds
Conrad Cardinal is considered violent and dangerous.

Alberta RCMP are searching for an armed and dangerous man broke into a home on Saddle Lake, assaulted a couple and kidnapped a woman.
St. Paul RCMP got a report at about 10 p.m. on April 7 about the incident. When they arrived, they found signs the couple was assaulted and then 49-year-old Corinne Steinhauer was taken against her will and is missing.
Steinhauer has a medium complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, is about 5-foot-5 and 143 pounds.
A school bus was also taken but has since been found.
RCMP are searching for 37-year-old Saddle Lake resident Conrad Cardinal.
Steinhauer has a medium complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, is about 5-foot-5 and 143 pounds.
Both Steinhauer and Cardinal have ties in Eastern Alberta, Saddle Lake and St. Paul.
