On Dec. 18, 2023, Westlock RCMP responded to a call of suspicious vehicle at a local business in the Hamlet of Dapp. RCMP attended and located the suspicious vehicle with two occupants.
A traffic stop on the vehicle was conducted and the license plate attached didn’t match the vehicle.
Two people were arrested and inside the vehicle police found 86 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and two bolt action rifles with prohibited magazines.

Jordan Robert Brisebois, 31, of Slave Lake, has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, unauthorized possession of a prohibited device, possession of a prohibited device in a vehicle, unauthorized possession of a firearm, tampering with VIN, possession of a firearm with tampered serial number, possession of meth for the purpose of trafficking, possession of contraband cigarettes and possession of firearm in a vehicle.
Tanya Marie Rader, 27, of Athabasca, has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Brisebois was taken before a justice of the peace and released with the next court date set for Feb. 7, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Westlock. Rader was released with conditions and is to appear next on Feb. 7, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Westlock.
