A woman was shot and killed at a nightclub in Mississauga Sunday night.
Peel Regional Police say that responded at about 1:40 a.m. Dec. 31 to the area of Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue East. They say it’s unclear if the shooting occurred inside the nightclub or in front of it.
When police arrived on scene, they found the woman in critical condition. She was rushed to a trauma centre, where she was later pronounced deceased.
Peel Police say there’s no threat to public safety. They haven’t released any information on a suspect.
