Saturday evening Lethbridge Police patrol members, TRU members, RCMP and RCMP Traffic members responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 3. The driver of this vehicle fled the scene and was apprehended after a lengthy canine track by both LPS and RCMP.
Lethbridge Police haven’t released the name of the person arrested.
This incident demonstrated how closely and efficiently LPS and RCMP are able to collaborate during an event that impacts both jurisdictions, said Lethbridge police.
