Delta Police are now investigating a shooting as a homicide after the victim died in hospital.
At about 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 14, Delta Police had responded to a report of a shooting located in the 11100 block of 82nd Ave. When they arrived, they found a victim with gunshot wounds. They didn’t say whether the victim was male or female and specify an age.
Delta Police say this homicide was targeted, and the victim is known to police. At the request of the family, police say they won’t release the victim’s name.
