On Dec. 23, Winnipeg Police released photos of two suspects they are searching for. They are wanted on arrest warrants obtained by the WPS Sex Crimes Unit:
Joey Michael Audy, 35, is wanted on charges of attempted murder, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, robbery, and forcible confinement.
Evelyn Marie McKay, 40, is wanted for robbery and forcible confinement.
On Dec. 10, at approximately 4:10 p.m., Winnipeg police officers had responded to a Winnipeg hospital for a report of a woman with numerous physical injuries from an assault.
On Dec. 22, patrol officers and the Tactical Support Team went to the 100 block of Marion Street for an unrelated matter, located 27-year-old Romeo Chris Miles, and arrested him on a warrant.He has been charged with robbery, forcible confinement, and two counts of failing to comply with conditions of a release order.
Lorde Barrios, 28, and Misty Bird, 26, were previously arrested in connection with the incident and charged with forcible confinement.
