Edmonton Police seek public’s help identifying bank robbery suspect in the Walker Lake neighbourhood near Ellerslie Road and 50 Street.
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a male suspect in connection to a recent bank robbery in southeast Edmonton.
On Oct. 30th, 2023, at approximately 2:35 p.m., a lone male suspect entered a financial institution in the Walker Lake neighbourhood near Ellerslie Road and 50 Street.
The suspect approached the bank teller and provided a series of written notes demanding money. No weapon was produced, and no one was injured during the robbery. The suspect then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, running across the parking lot complex. Investigators believe the suspect had a vehicle parked nearby.
The male suspect is described as being between 20 and 35 years old, 5’7-5’9, slim build and 150 pounds with a black beard or moustache. He was wearing light blue jeans, a grey-hooded sweatshirt, grey runners with white soles and black leather gloves. EPS Robbery Section detectives continue to investigate.
