On Sept. 1, at approximately 12 a.m., Creighton RCMP received a report of disturbance at a business in Creighton, Sask.
Officers immediately responded along with local EMS. Investigation determined an adult male and a female youth entered the business and assaulted a female youth. The female victim was taken to the hospital with injuries described as serious, but non-life threatening, in nature.
As a result of continued investigation, a 16-year-old female was located and arrested by Creighton RCMP on September 1, 2025. She is charged with assault causing bodily harm and breaking and entering with intent and is scheduled to appear in Creighton Provincial Court on October 7, 2025.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 21-year-old Preston Saam-Ackegan, who is charged with:
- one count, breaking and entering with intent;
- one count, assault with weapon;
- one count, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose;
- one count, uttering threats against a person; and
- three counts, fail to comply with probation order.
Creighton RCMP are seeking to locate and arrest 21-year-old Preston Saam-Ackegan and ask members of the public to report all sightings and information on his whereabouts.
Preston Saam-Ackegan is described as:
- Height: 5’8”
- Weight: 152 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour: black
Preston Saam-Ackegan is known to travel to the following areas:
- Flin Flon, Manitoba
