Investigators believe there may be more victims
The Toronto Police Service is notifying the public of an arrest made in Sexual Assault investigations stemming from numerous incidents dating back to 2014.
They say on Thursday, September 18, 2014, in the Pickering Parkway and Notion Road area in Pickering, a woman was sexually assaulted by a man while she was shopping at an establishment
In addition, on Friday, April 5, 2019, in the Steeles Avenue West and Alness Street area, a woman was shopping at an establishment when she observed a man committing an indecent act
On Friday, September 11, 2020, in the Sheppard Avenue East and Markham Road area, a woman was shopping at an establishment when she observed a man committing an indecent act.
On Thursday, December 14, 2023, in the Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road area, a woman was sexually assaulted by a man while she was working at an establishment.
On Thursday, February 20, 2025, Adrian Francis, 35, of Oshawa, was arrested and charged with two counts of Sexual Assault and two counts of Indecent Act.
He is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Friday, February 21, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 103.
Investigators believe there may be more victims.
