Prince District Joint Forces Operations executed a search warrant in Summerside leading to the arrest two men, and the seizure of drugs and weapons.
In the morning of Thursday, February 20, 2025, PEI Joint Forces Operations executed a search warrant at a residence in Summerside. In the course of this operation, police arrested a 50- year-old Summerside man, a 36-year-old Summerside man and seized Cash, 249 grams of cocaine – approximately ½ pound, 920 grams of crystal meth – just over 2 pounds, 438 Ice/speed pills, 874 Hydromorphone pills, 58 unidentified pills, and scales, baggies, and a replica handgun.
PEI Joint Forces Operations includes RCMP from Prince District, PEI RCMP General Investigative Services, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services.
“This is a significant seizure that takes a great deal of harmful drugs out of our communities,” said Chief Superintendent Kevin Lewis – Commanding Officer PEI RCMP. “We’re also tremendously proud of the efforts of the Joint Forces in this investigation and the execution of this warrant. The cooperation we have amongst police agencies in PEI has a very positive impact on enhancing public safety.”
