Known to torture and amputate victims’ limbs
Dave “Pik” Turmel, the leader of a notorious street gang that is involved in brutal turf wars in Quebec during where victims were tortured and had their limbs amputated is Canada’s most-wanted fugitive.
In 2022, a conflict between criminal organizations erupted in Eastern Quebec.
Leveraging their networks, independent dealers started to target members of outlaw motorcycle gangs and their associates to challenge the gangs’ hold on the drug trade in certain regions.
This conflict has been marked by sordid crimes such as murder and the use of the most barbaric methods of intimidation, including torture sessions and limb amputations, some of which have been broadcast on social media networks.
Dave “Pik” Turmel is wanted by the Service de police de la Ville de Québec (SPVQ) on Canada-wide warrants for several offences, including but not limited to substance trafficking, conspiracy, and assault with a weapon. INTERPOL has issued a Red Notice for him.
Turmel is also suspected of having participated in several criminal activities that are still under active investigation by several police services, including SPVQ.
Dave Turmel has numerous ties in Quebec, particularly in Québec City and Levis. Investigators have reasons to believe he may have fled Canada and may have since travelled to several countries. He is receiving assistance from some individuals and may be using fake identities so he could be anywhere in the world.
