All flights have been grounded and no planes allowed to land at St. John’s International Airport following a bomb threat Friday morning.
Police say they are on scene and investigating the credibility of the threat, which came just before 8:30 a.m.
The terminal has been evacuated and police ask that people stay away while the investigation is ongoing.
Passengers are told to contact their airlines about potential flight disruptions.
This is the second time the airport terminal has been closed to the public in one month. The airport shut down in December because of a suspicious package that turned out to be a false alarm.
