ABBOTSFORD, BC — Three people were rushed to hospital with serious injuries, one of them in life-threatening condition, after a single-vehicle collision early Monday morning on Highway 11 at Townshipline Road.
Abbotsford Police Patrol officers responded to the scene at approximately 12:14 a.m. on June 1, 2026. Emergency crews arrived to find a black Chrysler 300 with significant damage. All three occupants of the vehicle were suffering from serious injuries, police said.
One individual was airlifted to hospital in life-threatening condition. The other two were transported by ground. Further updates on their conditions were not immediately available.
The investigation is in its early stages and is being led by the Abbotsford Police Department’s General Investigative Section, with assistance from the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS).
Early findings suggest the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Townshipline Road, west of Highway 11, when it failed to negotiate a turn, lost control, struck the center concrete barrier and crossed over Highway 11.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, observed the vehicle prior to the incident along Townshipline Road, or who may have dash camera footage, to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225.
