The Toronto Police Service is investigating a homicide.
On Sept. 13, at approximately 11:56 p.m., police responded to a call for a Shooting in the Victoria Park Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East area.
It is reported that:
- police responded to reports that someone had been shot
- officers arrived on scene and located a male victim inside a vehicle suffering from injuries
- the suspects fled the scene in a light coloured SUV prior to police arrival
- life-saving measures were performed, but the victim was pronounced deceased on scene
The victim has been identified as Paulin Harusha, 43.
This is Toronto’s 31st Homicide of 2025.
