Lethbridge Police have charged a 34-year-old male in connection with an incident where an 80-year-old man was assaulted and sustained life-threatening injuries.
Cameron Jordon Hamilton, 34, of Lethbridge, is charged with aggravated assault, uttering threats and theft under $5,000. Following a Judicial Interim Release hearing, Hamilton was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today.
The victim remains in Foothills Hospital in serious condition.
No further information will be released.
