A third person is facing charges following ongoing investigation into a homicide that occurred in July 2025.
At approximately 8 p.m. on July 14, police responded to a call for service in the 3000 block of 4th Avenue. Upon arrival, they located a deceased male, who was identified as 53 year-old Brando Peji.
9 year-old Darcy MANITOPYES was arrested and is now facing charges of:
- Manslaughter
- Forcible Confinement; and
- Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order.
MANITOPYES made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court this morning (August 5, 2025) at 9:30 a.m.
48 year-old Terrina PELLETIER was charged with:
- First Degree Murder.
19-year-old Bradley GARDINER is also facing the following charges in relation to this homicide :
- Manslaughter; and
- Forcible Confinement.
