Edmonton police have arrested Damian Ward, 35, and charged him with second-degree murder in the death of Theoren Ermineskin, 33.
On Aug. 1 at approximately 12:15 a.m., EPS West Branch officers responded to reports of a dispute at a residence in the area of 81 Avenue and Briarwynd Court. Upon arrival, police located a male in medical distress. EMS administered life-saving measures to the injured male but he was pronounced deceased on scene.
Both the deceased and the accused were known to one another, say police.
