Two individuals are in custody and multiple firearms have been seized following a targeted investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Guns & Gangs Unit.
The operation, conducted with support from the Tactical Support Unit and Crime Reduction Team, culminated in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Kingsmere Boulevard on the evening of July 30. At approximately 10:30 p.m., officers moved in, arresting a 33-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.
The male suspect faces a total of eight charges related to drug possession and firearms offenses, while the female suspect has been charged with one count of drug possession.
Police recovered significant evidence during the search, including:
- 1.54 grams of methamphetamine
- 34.85 grams of cocaine
- Two prohibited shotguns and ammunition
- Two pellet guns
The SPS has not released the names of the accused.
