The Ottawa Police Service has identified the Craig Henry Drive homicide victim as Mahad Elmi, 20-years-old, of Ottawa.
The Ottawa Police Service received multiple 911 calls Monday morning just after 9:30 a.m. reporting shots fired in the 300 block of Craig Henry Drive.
Two victims were located and taken to hospital. Elmi succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased. A 21-year-old man has serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers have been in the area collecting evidence and canvassing for witnesses.
The incident is being actively investigated by the Homicide Unit.
Police say the investigation continues.
