On March 31, 2025, as part of an on-going investigation, Gypsumville RCMP with assistance from the RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a residence on Mallet Road in Pinaymootang First Nation, Manitoba.
Five occupants of the residence, three males, and two females were home when officers arrived and were arrested without incident.
During the search officers seized numerous firearms, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and Canadian currency.
Charlton Anderson, 31, and Tanya Bruce, 32, from Pinaymootang First Nation, and Tyler McKinney, 30, from Pine Falls, were charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Unsafe Storage of Firearms, and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
John McDonald, 23, from Leaf Rapids, and Danika Letandre, 28, from Pinaymootang First Nation also face additional charges of Failing to Comply with Release Order.
