Two men were killed in Montreal in two armed attacks in one day in two different areas of the city.
The first homicide occurred around 11:45 p.m. in the Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough, where a 55-year-old man was shot.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, according to Montreal Police.
About 30 minutes later there was another murder in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension. A man was taken to hospital in critical condition where he died. Two people were arrested, a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old man who was released without charges.
