On July 21, 2022, Rabih Alkhalil escaped from the North Fraser Pretrial Centre in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, while his murder trial was underway in Vancouver Supreme Court.
Rabih Alkhalil escaped with the help of two accomplices disguised as contractors. Following the escape, a jury found the wanted man guilty of first-degree murder.
The individual is known to use false documents (IDs and passports).
This suspect was located outside Canadian territory and is awaiting extradition to Canada.
