On Nov. 19, at Charlottetown Provincial Court, Kyle Jenkins was sentenced to 12 months in custody.
On Dec. 1, 2023, the RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section (GIS) arrested Kyle Jenkins of Charlottetown at a targeted traffic stop. This arrest resulted from a three month investigation and Jenkins was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking. During the arrest, thirty grams of methamphetamine was seized. To put this in context, 0.01 grams is commonly considered one dose of methamphetamine.
This investigation was completed jointly by the RCMP Provincial GIS Unit and the Queens District RCMP.
