On November 14, 2024, Karl Earl SETTEE, 31, of Winnipeg was arrested on the strength of a warrant for Manslaughter in relation to the death of Shawn Douglas THOMAS, 33.
Members of the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offenders Apprehension Unit (MIVOAU) were actively looking for SETTEE when he was located at approximately 12 p.m. in the area of Higgins Avenue and King Street.
He was detained in custody.
