On Saturday, October 19, 2024, Stacey Downey, 36, of Toronto, arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Triston McNally, 37, of Brampton, on Sept. 1.
On September 1, 2024, at approximately 6:19 a.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the Eglinton Avenue West and Times Road area. McNally was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Downey is scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
