Fox Lake RCMP charge Dusty Laboucan and Summer D’or with drug trafficking and firearms offences

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, Fox Lake RCMP received a complaint from concerned citizens in regards to a video that was posted on social media. The video depicted a male consuming drugs, alcohol, as well as discharging a firearm from a residential window.

RCMP say they were familiar with the male and the residence, and were able to secure a search warrant on the property in Fox Lake.

During a search of the residence, Dusty Laboucan, 29, of Fox Lake, and Summer D’or, 23 of Garden River were were arrested. RCMP located two rifles, a modified prohibited magazine, ammunition, and approximately 220 grams of suspected cocaine.

Laboucan was charged with three counts of failing to comply with a court order, careless use of a firearm, two count of unsafe storage of a firearm, three counts of possession of a firearm/device knowing unauthorized, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

D’or was charged with two counts of unsafe storage of a firearm, three counts of possession of a firearm/device knowing unauthorized, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Both Laboucan and D’or were held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing and were remanded into custody for July 25, 2024.
