Swift Current Rural RCMP advise Highway 37 east of Gull Lake blocked due to train derailment

Swift Current Rural RCMP are currently at the scene of a train derailment approximately one mile east of Gull Lake, Sask.

The Highway 37 entrance to Gull Lake is blocked in both directions as a result of the derailment.

No dangerous goods were spilled and no injuries have been reported. Detours will be in place until the highway can be cleared. This is anticipated to take several hours.

Canadian Pacific Railway Police are also at the scene.

RCMP ask motorists in the area to please slow down and follow all directions provided by first responders at the scene.
