Ottawa Police search for Soubere Yusuf Akli and Kennedid Atteye for murder; believe they fled Canada

The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is looking for public assistance to locate a two suspects involved in the shooting homicide on Carling Avenue on July 5.

A Canada-wide warrant has been obtained for the arrest of Soubere Yusuf AKLI, 28 years old, of Ottawa for first-degree murder.

He is described as a black male, 6’1” (185 cm), 187 lbs. (85kg) with dark eyes, and dark hair (see photo).

A Canada-wide warrant remains in effect for Kennedid ATTEYEH, 23 years old, of Ottawa for Accessory after the fact to murder as well as a new charge of first-degree murder.

Police believe that both men have left the country.

If you see AKLI or ATTEYEH, please do not approach them; call 911 immediately.
