Calgary Police have been unable to identify a man found deceased near the Bow River in March 2024.
Although the man’s death is believed to be non-criminal in nature, Calgary are releasing a composite sketch in hopes of generating information that may lead to his identification and the notification of his next of kin.
The man’s body was located by a passerby at approximately 11:10 a.m., on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, on the riverbank near the area of Memorial Drive N.W. and 10 Street N.W.
Following an autopsy completed on Thursday, March 7, 2024, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the death was deemed not suspicious.
So far, all traditional methods of identifying the deceased have failed to yield any information about his identity, so we are now asking the public for assistance in identifying the man.
