Grande Prairie RCMP say the 2021 Red Can Am Outlander 570 stolen from them has been recovered following a tip from the public.
That information also allowed Grande Prairie RCMP to arrest the two people on March 27, who were out on warrants, in possession of the ATV.
Cole Burl Frank Posegate, 36, and Ara-Bela Veronika Ross, 33, both of no fixed address, were charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 as well as being arrested on robbery warrants.
Posegate and Ross were brought before a justice of the peace and released on conditions. They are to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie on April 10.
The 2021 Grey Polaris Sportsman Touring 570 and the 2022 Black “Rainbow Trailers” Flat Deck are still unaccounted for, say RCMP. New footage was obtained showing the suspect vehicle used to commit the offence.
The vehicle is a dark coloured pickup truck with a modified bed.
