RCMP arrest man.
A male employee at Pentz Elementary School in Pentz, Nova Scotia is accused of sexual assaults against a child, and on Feb. 2 police said believe there may be more victims.
On Oct. 25, 2023, Lunenburg District RCMP received a report of sexual assault between the employee and a child at the elementary school. The employee has not been present in the school since Oct. 26, 2023.
Lunenburg District RCMP, with the assistance of Nova Scotia Child Welfare Services, started an investigation.
Through the investigation, including victim and witness interviews, additional victims have come forward. Investigators believe there may be other victims and are now appealing to parents and guardians to talk with their children.

Due to provisions of the Privacy Act, and to protect the victims, police say the name of the school employee won’t be disclosed at this time. Any form of vigilante activity or other unreasonable conduct against the employee will not be tolerated, say police.
