A 14-year-old youth has been arrested after violently assaulting a seven-year-old at a bus stop in Rocky Mountain House.
The youth is charged with assault causing bodily harm. He has been released on conditions and will appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Rocky Mountain House on Feb. 15.
Rocky Mountain House RCMP say that on Dec. 21, 2023, they were called to the assault at a bus stop. The seven-year-old child was taken to hospital.
The youth can’t be named due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
