An inmate, William Mackinaw escaped from the Stan Daniels Healing Centre on Jan. 4 after failing to report to work while on an authorized temporary absence. Police say he may be headed to Enoch, Alta.
He is currently serving a 23-year sentence for multiple offences, including firearms related offences. A warrant for his arrest has been issued by Correctional Service Canada.
Mackinaw, 45, also goes by “Billy.” He is about 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds.
