Montreal police say Emmanuel Puthyra Roy is wanted for gangsterism, possession of weapons, possession of weapons for the purpose of trafficking, drug trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and conspiracy.
The crime network controlled from Montreal, involved Laval, Mirabel, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines and Richmond Hill in Ontario. They supplied firearms to criminal groups. Emmanuel Puthyra Roy, is the alleged leader.
In November 2022, Montreal police arrested 10 people after dismantling what they said was a major arms and drug trafficking network between Montreal and Toronto.
Anti-Gang Unit Commander Francis Renaud told media that the men were going to Toronto once a week, bringing money to Montreal, then buying drugs and firearms.
