Montreal police is investigating the city’s 32nd homicide this year in the Montreal Area.
A 23-year-old man was found deceased in an apartment near the the intersection of Duranceau Avenue and des Érables Street in the Lachine borough on Dec. 6.
Urgence Sante and police officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Following an investigation about the circumstances of the man’s death, authorities ruled the cause of death was homicide.
