On September 5, 2025, at approximately 10:28 p.m. the Langley RCMP responded to reports of a shooting around 200 Street and 53 Avenue, Langley.
Frontline officers arrived promptly, located the victim and initiated lifesaving measures. Despite their efforts, the victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene,
said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.
The investigation has since led police to the 20200 block of 53A Avenue. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken over the investigation and will share further updates.
