A 62-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road at the intersection of Foul Bay Road and Fairfield Road in Victoria around 12:15 a.m. on Nov. 29.
Victoria Police say the driver was reported to be travelling at a high rate of speed and failed to stop at the stop sign before striking the woman and sending her to the ground.
The vehicle is described as a white sports car, and it may have damage to the front passenger side from making contact with the pedestrian
The driver didn’t stop after hitting the pedestrian and was last seen travelling southbound on Foul Bay Road towards Gonzales Beach.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are asking the driver of the vehicle, any witnesses who saw the incident, anyone in the area around the time of the incident that has dashcam footage or doorbell footage, or nearby businesses with CCTV footage to call the E-Comm Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
