On July 6, the body of a 61-year-old man from Buffalo Narrows was located in the water. On July 5, Buffalo Narrows RCMP had received a report of a missing boater.
Officers immediately responded and their investigation determined an adult male’s boat was located idling in Peter Pond Lake.
Officers along with local residents and conservation officers with the Provincial Protective Services Branch began searching the water and shoreline for the male.
