Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating more ATM thefts. This time it was an ATM from a business in Paradise Hill on Jan. 4.
Sask. RCMP have issued news releases for multiple recent thefts of ATMs in their jurisdiction. At this time, they say all ATM thefts remain under investigation, and can’t confirm if any incidents are connected.
The initial police investigation has determined two vehicles and four suspects, were involved in the Paradise Hill incident. One vehicle reversed into the building and the ATM was stolen by the suspects. The suspects fled the scene in the second vehicle travelling westbound on Highway 3.
The ATM was later recovered empty near Kitscoty, Alta.
The suspects had a firearm and may still have it with them. The public shouldn’t approach them and instead contact police immediately if you see them or the vehicle.
One of the vehicles was previously reported stolen from Alberta and has since been recovered in Saskatchewan.
The second vehicle has not been located. It is a described as a white 4-door one-ton truck with a flat deck.
Suspect 1 is described as approximately six-feet with a medium build, wearing a royal blue jacket with high visibility stripes, a gray toque, dark colored pants with white stripes down the side, yellow gloves, and has a walking cast/boot on their left foot.
Suspect 2 is described as approximately six-feet with a medium build, wearing a black jacket with a hood, a gray baseball hat with a sticker on the inside top brim, dark pants, gray running shoes with white soles.
Suspect 3 is described as approximately six-feet slightly taller than the other suspects with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie with white stripes down the arms, gray sweat pants, black shoes, and a black hat.
Suspect 4 remained in the truck and no current descriptors are available, say police.
All suspects had their faces covered.

ATM theft in Shaunavon
On Dec. 30, 2023 at approximately 12 a.m., Shaunavon RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a business in Shaunavon, Sask.
An ATM was attached to a stolen truck with chains and pulled out of the building by two suspects.
One suspect wore all black, while the other suspect wore a blue/green plaid jacket with a red hoodie underneath and light-coloured jeans.

Officers have since located the stolen truck and the ATM on rural roads west of Shaunavon. All of the cash has been removed from the ATM.
ATM theft in Burstall, Sask.
On Dec. 17, 2023 at approximately 4:16 a.m., Leader RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter at a business in Burstall, Saskatchewan. The business had been hit multiple times by a front loader style vehicle, destroying the business’s front office and lobby, and the ATM and a sum of cash within it was stolen.
Investigation has determined the front loader was stolen from Burstall early on Dec. 17, and the truck used to haul the ATM was stolen from Leader late on Dec. 16.
Officers located the dismantled ATM and front loader at the scene. Parts of the ATM and the truck were recovered later on Dec. 17, approximately 10 kilometres west of Liebenthal. None of the cash has been recovered.
