Strathcona County RCMP are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect after a woman reported a voyeurism incident at a Sherwood Park retail store last year.
Police say the incident occurred on June 4, 2024, when a woman noticed a cellphone being slid under the door of a change room while she was getting dressed. She grabbed the phone and alerted store staff, but the suspect fled before officers arrived.
RCMP say a lengthy investigation followed, during which officers uncovered several additional videos showing victims being secretly recorded while changing or using a bathroom. Investigators worked through multiple leads, including assistance from the Canada Border Services Agency, but have not yet identified the suspect.
The Strathcona County RCMP General Investigation Section has released photos and is asking anyone who recognizes the individual to contact the detachment at 780‑467‑7741.
