On Dec. 24, 2025, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Camrose RCMP responded to an armed robbery at the gas station located at 2 Railway avenue in Hay Lakes.. The suspect produced a long knife demanded cash and cigarette and threatened the employee. The lone suspect then left the store entering a pick up and driving away. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as;
- Male
- Medium complexion
- Over 6 feet tall
- Wearing a black zip up sweater, Grey pants, Light brown timberland style boots, Red Bandana over face.
The suspects vehicle is described as; a Grey GMC Sierra 2500 possibly a crew cab.
