Dec. 23 Douglas Yetman, 47, of St. John’s was arrested and charges are pending, including murder, multiple firearms offences, possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose, and breaches of court and firearm prohibition orders.
Darryl Little, 42, and Peter Campbell, 28, are both facing murder charges and are being held in custody pending court appearances.
On December 21, The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a residence on Empire Avenue in St. John’s, where officers discovered a deceased man inside the home. In consultation with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, police confirmed the death was the result of a homicide. At this time, the victim has not been publicly identified.
Campbell was taken into custody on the night of December 22 at around 10:30 p.m. at a home on Rotary Drive. In addition to a murder charge, Campbell faces multiple firearms-related offences, including disguise with intent and several breaches of court orders and a firearm prohibition.
Little was arrested shortly after midnight on December 23 at a residence on Druken Crescent. He has been charged with murder, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and breaching a court order.
