Prince Albert RCMP arrested Brennan Sewap on December 23, 2025.
On December 23, 2025, Prince Albert RCMP located a wanted man driving a stolen vehicle in Prince Albert. They engaged Prince Albert Police Service to assist. RCMP officers attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team located the vehicle parked at a residence in Prince Albert. Prince Albert RCMP officers and Prince Albert Police Service helped secure the area.
Three occupants exited the vehicle, and RCMP officers arrested two females. The third occupant, the wanted male, fled on foot and was arrested by RCMP after a short foot pursuit.
RCMP officers searched the suspect vehicle and seized the following items:
- a loaded semi-automatic rifle and ammunition;
- drug trafficking paraphernalia; and
- three packages of a substance believed to cocaine. The substance will be sent to Health Canada for further testing.
As a result of continued investigation, 36-year-old Brennan Sewap from Saskatoon, SK is additionally charged with:
- one count, flight from peace officer, Section 320.17, Criminal Code;
- one count, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, Section 320.13(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, resist/obstruct peace officer, Section 129(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, operate a motor vehicle while prohibited, Section 320.24, Criminal Code;
- one count, transport firearm in an unsafe manner, Section 86(2), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, Section 92(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Section 94(1), Criminal Code;
- four counts, weapons/firearms possession contrary to order, Section 117.01(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, operate a motor vehicle while prohibited, Section 320.18, Criminal Code (Information #90512643).
34-year-old Patricia Morin from Southend, SK is charged with:
- one count, fail to comply with release order condition, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, resist/obstruct a peace officer, Section 129(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88, Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, Section 92(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Section 94(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, careless use of a firearm, Section 86(1), Criminal Code (Information #90565746).
31-year-old Sarah Linklater from Pelican Narrows, SK is charged with:
- one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, resist/obstruct a peace officer, Section 129(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, unsafe storage of a firearm, Section 86(2), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, Section 92(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Section 94(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, Section 88(1), Criminal Code (Information #90565746).
