On Nov. 19, 2025, Alberta RCMP Community Response Team, with the assistance of the Sheriff Investigative Support Surveillance Unit and Parkland RCMP executed a search warrant related to drug trafficking McLeod Avenue are of Spruce Grove.
As a result of the two-week investigation, police located and seized:
- 243.5 grams of Cocaine;
- 5 tablets of suspected Fentanyl;
- 5 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms;
- $2,275.00 of Canadian currency.
Tyler Wilkins (41), a resident of Spruce Grove, has been arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Trafficking Controlled Substance Cocaine;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl;
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Psilocybin Mushrooms;
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Tyler Wilkins has been released with his next court appearance at the Alberta Court of Justice St. Albert on Dec. 17, 2025.
