Investigators with the Major Crime Section have arrested and charged two more people in connection to a 2024 homicide.
On November 14, 2025 and November 17, 2025, 22-year-old Emmery Aubichon and 45-year-old Vernon Peequaquat were arrested in Saskatoon and have each been charged with first degree murder, offering an indignity to human remains, and unlawful confinement.
Both men have since appeared in court and were remanded into custody pending their next appearance.
On Nov. 6, 2025, 41-year-old Donovan Lemstra was arrested by members of the Calgary Police Service in Calgary, Alta., on an outstanding warrant issued by the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) in relation to this homicide. He was later transported back to Saskatoon and arrested into the custody of the SPS on Nov. 10, 2025. Lemstra has been charged with first degree murder, offering an indignity to human remains, and unlawful confinement.
On Nov. 12, 2025, and Nov. 13, 2025, 40-year-old Michael Landry and 27-year-old Michael McCallum were arrested by the SPS in Saskatoon and have each been charged with first degree murder, offering an indignity to human remains, and unlawful confinement.
All three men have since appeared in court and were remanded into custody pending their next appearance.
