On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, members of the CYAC and 23 Division commenced an investigation and arrested Oscar Campos, 52, of Toronto. He was charged with break and enter, five counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference, two counts each of making child pornography and possession of child pornography.
He was scheduled to appear in court on October 17, 2025, at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre.
The Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) is making the public aware of an arrest in a Break and Enter and Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that between May 2023 and October 2025, a man worked as a Superintendent in an apartment building in the Islington Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard area. The man befriended an 8-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl. Between January 2024 and October 2025 the man sexually assaulted both girls multiple times. On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the man broke into the girl’s apartment and attempted to lure one of the girls out of the apartment
Police are concerned there may be other victims.

The CYAC was opened in October 2013 and is comprised of specialized child abuse investigators from the Toronto Police Service, in collaboration with members of the Catholic Children’s Aid Society, the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, the Hospital for Sick Children’s Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Program (SCAN), Radius Child & Youth Services, and Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre.
