On December 8, 2024, the Coquitlam RCMP arrested a suspect in connection to a recent series of sexual assaults that occurred in Coquitlam. The timely arrest comes after significant police efforts to identify and locate the suspect. The Coquitlam RCMP is now investigating a total of nine (9) reports where the male suspect is alleged to have inappropriately touched women as they walked.
RCMP thank the public and the media for assistance. The investigation is ongoing and police are unable to release the suspect’s identity at this time. The suspect has been released on conditions.
