Edmonton Police investigate suspicious death of man found in river valley Saturday

The Edmonton Police Service is investigating the suspicious death of a male who was found fatally injured in the river valley yesterday morning.

 On Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at approximately 9 a.m., pedestrians in the river valley near 100 Street and 91 Avenue, in the area of Nellie McClung Park, came across a male with serious injuries. EMS attended and declared the man deceased on scene.

Homicide Section detectives have taken over the investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday, Sept. 16, 2024.
